Why did you choose "The Revolvers" as a name for your band?
We wanted a strong name, which would arouse curiosity and that it represented at best as people and as artists. That statement, with its ironic and entertaining form that distinguishes us, our desire for rebellion, of subversion of the preconceived and the desire to revolutionize the artistic landscape of music band deeply dominated by male figure. The Our "weapons" are the instruments (guitars, microphones, drums, etc..), the songs our ammunition, also revolutionized the style and arrangements. We are four girls from the south who come from a land "complicated", Calabria (who we are and always will be linked indossolubilmente) and which, moreover, have chosen to make the professional musician, a very risky choice and counter, but we made it and we believe that through music we can launch strong message of renewal and hope. We want to be Calabrian women in the world and we want to be in our own way, ironic, biting, sometimes outrageous, this is the style of Revolvers and moreover I believe that is sufficient to see some of our concert to see how much freedom and joy in our music and we get in our performances ...
